Last night was a really meaningful time hearing from Pamela & Ashley as they shared their hearts for people, and the struggles of practicing God’s love in broken places. Their stories from South Africa and Nepal challenge us in so many ways! At the very least, hopefully, we were all able to ask ourselves how we are participating in kingdom work today, here & now… How is your hand on the plough? Where could God be calling you to step in faith into a place where you can better share the love of Christ to humanity- even if that’s the person right in front of you? Many of you wanted to read more about Pamela & Ashley’s lives, and track their work on their different blogs. Pamela can be found on http://www.restoredyouth.blogspot.com/ Ashley writes at http://www.reflectioninwater.blogspot.com/ Thanks ladies for spending an evening with us and being so open with your lives!

Pachacutec y Peru Update!

We just received some video from our brothers and sisters in Peru. It looks like they recently dedicated the church in Pachacutec that we helped complete this summer. It’s clear from these videos that Elsa shouldn’t be a cinematographer, but for those of you who know what was there before, you’ll be amazed at the (almost) finished product! The best angle may be seen in the last minute or so of video one, where Elsa steps outside. Remember, our Christmas in Peru fundraiser starts this week…. More details to come if you weren’t there last Thursday. For now, thank God for His work in Lima!
